At last December’s AJJ meeting we were happy to inaugurate the Mark Bookman Prize, in memory of Mark Bookman, a young anthropologist specializing in disability issues who died very suddenly in December 2022 at the age of 31. Now film maker Ron Small has made a documentary about Mark’s life and work, which will have a triple premiere on three Tokyo campuses near the end of February at the Komaba and Hongo campuses of U of Tokyo, and the Yotsuya campus of Sophia, as follows:
